I’m going to try something different by reviewing a novel. I need to detox with some fiction, so I’m getting around to reading his fiction recommended by Thomas777. This will be a short review without any spoilers. Last Citadel is a ~400-page novel written by David L. Robbins. It features both German and Soviet perspectives on the battle. The main characters are an SS officer turned Soviet-spy, a wounded, emaciated Blue Division SS officer from Spain, A Cossack tank driver and his commanding officer, who is also his son, and his daughter, who is a “Night Witch” pilot.
